Reclaim Your Authentic Self

A structured, therapist-guided course for daughters of narcissistic mothers

If you were raised by a narcissistic or emotionally immature mother, you may have spent years trying to understand what happened — and why its effects still show up in your relationships, sense of self, and emotional life.

If you’re unsure where to begin, this course is the most comprehensive starting point in my work.

Reclaim Your Authentic Self is designed for women who want more than information. It offers a coherent, trauma-informed framework that helps you understand your early environment, recognise how it continues to affect you, and begin making meaningful changes.

What makes this course different

This is the only self-guided program I offer that includes my direct clinical input through recorded teaching and guided reflection.

The course integrates:

  • clinical knowledge,

  • lived experience,

  • and carefully structured material designed specifically for daughters of narcissistic mothers.

It is self-paced and designed to be returned to over time — not rushed through.

Why I created this course

I was raised in a narcissistic family.

Although I’ve since trained in social work, trauma therapy, and counselling, my most formative education came from surviving a narcissistic home.

My mother was a covert (or collapsed) narcissist — needy, manipulative, and demanding. She was hard to understand and even harder to please. From the outside, it often appeared as though I was the “golden child,” but the attention and approval I received came at the cost of my sense of self.

Nothing I did was ever enough. Love was conditional, approval unpredictable, and rage could follow even minor mistakes. At times, I was required to parent my own mother.

For many years, I believed success would resolve my feelings of worthlessness. I pursued my art career relentlessly, became a full-time academic, and then experienced a devastating professional collapse that forced me to confront the depth of my trauma.

Retraining in social work and entering therapy changed everything. I began to understand the psychological impact of narcissistic parenting — and how deeply it had shaped my relationships, identity, and self-worth.

This course exists because I know, personally and professionally, what it takes to move from fear, shame, and self-abandonment toward self-compassion, stability, and authentic connection.

How the course is structured

The course is intentionally sequenced to support containment and integration.

It moves from:

  • understanding your early family environment,

  • to recognising how its effects show up in your life now,

  • to developing practical strategies for change.

You do not need to complete the course in order, and many participants return to different sections over time.

A note on readiness

Many people arrive here after reading, researching, and reflecting for a long time.

If you recognise yourself in this work but feel unsure whether you’re “ready,” that uncertainty is often part of the pattern this course addresses.

You don’t need to have everything figured out to begin.
