TEEN COUNSELLING and THERAPY
Adolescence and young adulthood is a time of challenge and transformation, growth and discovery. It can also be a stressful and turbulent time when emotions are high and relationships are tested.
I offer counselling for teens and young people to help ease them through this period. My aim is to help young people to develop better skills for getting on with others and understanding themselves.
Counselling can help young people:
have better relationships
gain better self-awareness
manage emotions and stress
learn resilience and increase resourcefulness
improve social skills and develop clearer communication
develop better coping mechanisms
develop positive attitudes and self-assurance
create a clearer sense of values, life ambitions and long term goals
My practice in North Fitzroy is a safe space where I offer support and guidance through times of growth and change.
I am a psychotherapist and social worker with a special interest in young people and families. I use art therapy and attachment focused counselling to help young people gain greater self-awareness and security.
